Hi Everyone,

I hope you are all doing well.

I am wondering if anyone knows whether or not an ACSM-CEP who achieves CDCES certification can bill for those consultation services in CR/PR?

Please let me know if you know, and where I might find that information.

Paul

Hi Paul,

Thanks for your question!

Unfortunately, Exercise Physiologists cannot bill separately for services provided during cardiac rehabilitation because they are included in the bundled charge. However, EPs can help patients with diabetes care and exercise prescriptions.

Best,

Alex Angeli, EP
